School Policies

Students are required to follow the school timings strictly. Any late-arrivals will be penalized and a student not meeting the required level of attendance may be dismissed from the school.

Students are expected to show utmost respect to fellow students, teachers and school staff. Any student found violating school rules will face strict disciplinary action and may be expelled from school.

Students are expected to regularly do homework assigned to them, as well as prepare for the class tests, monthly tests and term assessments.

Absence for reasons other than illness requires written application in advance by the parent/guardian. In case of illness, parents/guardians must inform the school office through telephone the reason of the absence. For absence of more than 3 days, a doctor’s certificate must be submitted. As the school believes that lengthy absences hamper the student’s progress, (s) he may be asked to be withdrawn from school.

Parents must keep the school informed regarding matters of serious concern about their children’s health. The school may disallow the attendance of a student if (s)he is considered to be suffering from a contagious disease. Parents must check the hair of their children regularly for possible infestation and take appropriate action.

Student must arrive and leave school in the prescribed uniform.

Both girls and boys are not allowed to wear jewelry of any kind. Only simple watches are allowed. Girls will not be allowed to wear any hair accessories in colors other than black and blue.

Students must be picked from school within half an hour after school closing time. Any students staying later than this, will not be the responsibility of the school.

Items (clothing/lunch boxes/books etc) left behind by students in school and if found by the custodial staff will be kept in the school office to be claimed within one day. However, the school cannot be held responsible for any items that students leave behind as it may not be found by any of the school staff. The school will not store “lost & found” property indefinitely, and any claims after the passage of one week may not be entertained.
